Jul. 10th, 2007 04:26 pmWellp, I'm going to Millicon from 19 July through 22 July, and taking 23 July off. It's worth noting in the meantime that I don't plan on buying Harry Potter while I'm there, and that I don't drink, but am generally up for other forms of entertainment while people storm the Borders and read everything in sight.
I will possibly also have a lot of canon on videotape and/or DVD.
Anyone interested in hanging out doing other things on the night of Potterammerung?

Date: 2007-07-11 08:26 pm (UTC)I'm not getting the book right away, and the only appeal to the Potterammerung (which is a fabulous word) for me is in hanging out with people in the stages before they get their books and dive into canon glee. And even that I am not sold on, as a) it seemed at first to involve long lines in a very crowded bookstore, and b) it now seems to involve short lines in a very crowded bookstore. So. Alternate party, yes let's!
