Saw the Transformers movie. It made me very, very happy.

Although it will be some time before I feel quite comfortable around my copy of psiTunes again, given a certain character's method of communication.

And now I understand why Bumblebee was a Camaro instead of a Beetle.

If Sam's new car had been a beat-up VW Bug that mysteriously came to life, well, the audience would have been too busy laughing to pay attention to the movie...

Which, of course, invokes a plotbunny in which original-version Bumblebee discovers his long-lost brother. ^.^

Well, yes, there's that. Although I'm told it had more to do with Volkswagen not wanting their vehicle to be shown indulging in combat- guess they changed their minds about the project the way the UN changed their minds about Doctor Who, which is why you won't see any references to UNIT's full name in Ninth or Tenth Doctor episodes.

It's possible. My current computer is named Aidan, after a character of mine who had two super powers: one, he never forgot anything, ever, and two, it was all correlated and perfectly retrievable.
