If I did it in cables, it was going to be one-colour cables. I've never designed my own cables before, though, so it would either have to be a very complicated sort of Fair Isle variant (since any given line of the pattern would have to have three colours on it), or extremely experimental cabling.
Have you got a picture of the UNIT logo as you intend to do it? I voted for it, but have no idea what your version looks like. Actually, I feel dumb, because I'm a huge Dr. Who fan from waaaaay back but can't even remember what it looks like.
There are several candidates. I haven't settled on one yet, although the simple grey circle with the grid int he middle would make for a nice combination of Fair Isle and textural work.
