GIP, really.
Jun. 14th, 2007 09:17 amOkay, yesterday's zombie stuff is pretty well out of my system. Today, I think, we go for either the ficwritey or the surrealistic.
Vampire moths in Finland, for example. Warning for an image of a moth somewhat smaller than the last joint of a human finger, complete with proboscis for drilling through human skin. Its Latin name is Calyptra thalictri, and the males are the bloodsuckers. The females are mostly into fruit. Weird thing is they also feed on the tears of large animals. It's practically the gothiest insect ever, except that it's not a very gothy colour.
Also, courtesy of
daniidebrabant yesterday: Vosges Exotic Chocolate Candy Bar What Has Got Bacon In. yes, bacon. As in tasty smoked pigflesh. One of these days I am going to sit down and put together the Most Treyf Meal Ever and this is going to be on the dessert menu. The one composed of olives and white chocolate bothers me on a different level, but that is because white chocolate is not worthy of the name of chocolate. Confectionery, sure, but that ain't chocolate.
Proably more later. For now I thought you should know about these.
