Tired. So tired.

It's been a long week and I got a lot of systems stuff accomplished, although there is more under way. Yesterday was a day of bollixing things up and doing others right. I do not much want to talk about either, though. Only that I could use something of a vacation, and that it's not going to happen this weekend, because I have my grandfather's birthday on Saturday. Sunday, maybe, if I do not wind up having to do something insane like go out to our offsite location and get things fixed there. I really don't want to do that. I need to do more bicycle riding, because as much as that's physical labour, it's still not something I am obliged to do- it's play, and that's something.

At least last night's modly stuff went reasonably well, speaking of play. I don't generally look forward to that sort of thing, although it's necessary. It's a bit like having a shot, really. I know perfectly well that it's needful and that it'll be over soon, but... yeah.

(Side note: no matter how many Brits live in my head, no matter how many times I find myself referring to trousers and football instead of pants and soccer, you will always know I have not been assimilated into the Commonwealth entirely by the fact that a needle in the arm is still a shot and not a jab.)

Anyway, I have a meeting in half an hour to discuss the current status of systems things, and then I am probably going to have to spend some time on the phone dealing with server issues, and just... gnnnh.

Friday. End of week. I can do this.
