Mar. 29th, 2007 08:55 amGah. GAH. If you are going to spam me in poetic format, at LEAST have the decency to observe proper iambic pentameter throughout the whole thing!!
Against this sky no longer of our world.
That rings, with faithful tongue, its pious note
My keyhole blows a gale
Empty streets I come upon by chance,
Are muffled into silence that refuses
Wheel tracks entrench themselves in snow, yet painted
Snow haze gleams like sand.
Event, the end of the painted road ends up
Of observation lying on the ground
As distant memories, through the fog-dimmed light,
grow hot in the parking lot, though they're
Introduction by Vilhjalmur Stefansson
He terrifies the Vast, he seems so wild;
By what it seems to have moved toward. In any
No name, no meaning. Oh my friends,
They tear apart the mist, it is as though,
VI. Smeerenburg and the Whale-Oil Rush
XVI. Laying a Ghost: The Jeannette and the Fram
III. Chronology of Northern Exploration
I ask you, does that scan? Have some PRIDE, man.

Ta titi Tata TA Ti ta (caesura) Ta titi Tata TA Ti ta
which pattern, as far as I know, as no name in English, unless it's 'Hiawatha' (stolen from the Finnish Kalevala)
