*eyes second Heroes hat* You know, even for a hat that I had to rip out two rows of to correct for my stupidity in pattern imperfections, this thing's coming along right quickly. I might even be able to get a pair of mittens made for myself by Tuesday at the rate this hat is going.

I think I need to find a decent generic mitten pattern with the thumb on the side rather than a proper thumb gore. Maybe. It's a bit tough to work out how to put the Elder Sign on the palm otherwise.

Will have to graph out Fire Nation and/or Earth Kingdom symbols later, but those work as back-of-the-hand symbols anyway.

Hm. Nice design, but it's crochet, not knit. I've got a book of mitten patterns here I can work from instead, I think.

My first thought was to run the fire banner through this and do it for you, but after having done two charts, my dim social clue finally lit up and pointed out that you might not actually like that, so I didn't.
