Jan. 20th, 2007 11:45 amAt work at the moment, doing a mega file transfer and then an upgrade to one of the servers that had to be done at a point in time when I could reboot the machine. Since I already had to work through a contingency test with a major financial institution, it's not as if being at the office was unexpected today. I'm just hoping the transfer finishes relatively quickly, like within the next hour or so.
Pbbbbt.
In the meantime I am dealing with a couple of fairly disquieting plotbunnies for Ray, one of which requires me to find out how you go about suing somebody in federal court (nothing to do with Foliage Census), one of which involves the Russian Consulate, and one of which would involve Detective Chen, my current longest-running NPC in Ray's universe. There is also the stuff I'm planning involving Antiques Roadshow and a trip to Massachusetts. The question is: how do I sort all of these out time-wise? Because I can do them all, I just need to get them in order- and possibly rustle up some assistance from other people, ooc and ic.
... look, if you were stuck here on a Saturday, you'd be contemplating 'how would the Russian government go about asking for help with the undead' too.

Date: 2007-01-20 05:34 pm (UTC)Even if it ends up with the judge throwing the case out of court, I figure it's relatively realistic to see someone at least try. Just because you deal with the supernatural every day doesn't mean people are gonna be anything other than their attention-grabbing selves.
