Does anyone know how to screencap off a .avi file? I mean, can I load that into WinDVD 7 and screencap it? I just finished watching The Daemons and frankly, The Master's facefault sequence towards the end is priceless.

Azal: "I SHALL PASS ON MY POWER."
The Master: "Yay!"
Azal: "BUT NOT TO YOU."
The Master: "Poop."
Azal: "TO HIM."
The Master: ".... D00D. WTF."

As long as it's not a protected file, that should work.

Alternately, there's VirtualDub, which I've been using for my Season 2 Twin Peaks icons. I like it.

And I think WinDVD 7 does it, but I haven't tried it with a .avi file yet.

Try looking up VirtualDub, it lets you select a scene and screencap it.

*snickerfits* I miss the Master, even if he was an evil bastard. He got the best scenes sometimes.
