If he had continued any further I would have cheerfully explained the term 'Home Depot dyke' to him, but a) he was on speakerphone with Mom in the background and b) the only reason he even wanted to know was because that's what they described Batwoman as. This was just simpler.

I'm all in favour of trying to reach a wider audiance with comics, but sometimes I lose all hope. Things like this make the normal geeks uncomfortable and confuse everyone else.

Current level of expectation for Fables TV series: fodder for fanvids that won't look choppy by default.

Don't shoot me, but overall I think that's a good thing, even though it sucked to be you today.

My brother and I were fans of the Omen movies when they came out, so when Omen III, the Final Conflict came out, I snuck him in, even though he was 12 and I was 17, because I figured, no harm done, we've seen the others.

Forgot Damien was grown up now.

Had to explain anal sex to my 12 year old brother. That was its own punishment, let me tell you. My dad laughed at me for days when he found out.
