Morning, everyone!

I just wanted to thank all of you who wished me a happy birthday yesterday- I really appreciated it. The day went well, even down to my grandfather not having to have open-heart surgery after all (he'd been scheduled for yesterday at one of the better cardiac hospitals in the region, but the arteries turned out to be not as blocked as the doctors thought). I got to party with batyatoon and sdelmonte and myrsine and ladymondegreen and akawil, which is always great, and in the end I didn't have to take mass transit home from Queens, which is almost as good. So all in all? Very good birthday.

No, I lost my cellular phone and had to put it on non-operational mode until I either find it or (in thirty days) get a new one. I've got a cellular phone from the company, but it's on Cingular. I can pass you my land line if you like, tho.

Haven't been back to the Great Swamp in a while, but I've decided that I"ll be the one to introduce my nephew to it when he gets older. I have developed a fondness for Liberty State Park, at least.
