I just wanted to thank all of you who wished me a happy birthday yesterday- I really appreciated it. The day went well, even down to my grandfather not having to have open-heart surgery after all (he'd been scheduled for yesterday at one of the better cardiac hospitals in the region, but the arteries turned out to be not as blocked as the doctors thought). batyatoon and sdelmonte and myrsine and ladymondegreen and akawil, which is always great, and in the end I didn't have to take mass transit home from Queens, which is almost as good. So all in all? Very good birthday.
