Okay. Birthday foo.

Some of y'all have expressed an interest in sharing birthday festivities with me next Tuesday, May 9th. I'm down with that and so is batyatoon, but we need to plan, like, now. So here's the deal.

Tuesday I will go straight from my office to Batya's place in Queens. There will be celebration there. I will bring as much kosher birthday food as I can. We will probably have a movie or something, and we will have to skedaddle by 9:30. If you want to come, that's cool, but you have to notify me now. Batya needs to know who's coming and who's not by Sunday, capisce? So- respond here and we'll get this boulder rolling.

Where would you be coming in from? In all likelihood I"m renting a Zipcar to get there.

That depends on when. I could probably be there by 5ish from the Queens College campus (Main St., or possibly Parsons Blvd., in the 60s for avenues), or if things aren't getting underway until later I'd likely be going from home (Jamaica/Briarwood area, just off Main St. and Queens Blvd.)

Well, I plan to leave straight from my office at 5 PM.... come ot think of it, getting out of Manhattan at that hour's going to be mad. I think I'll get on the train instead of Zipcarring, since I won't be getting out that late.
