Just what we need, enhanced sharks.

You would think though, that after the sheer Number of movies that have been made about the military/private corporations deciding to use nature/dogs/cats/wolves (COUGHCOUGH-WEREWOLVES)=insert your favorite species of flora/fauna here for their own purposes....

I dunno, I heard about the whole dolphin thing but I thought it was a whole lot of bunk. I mean why manipulate animals when we could just work on our explosive capibilities?

I am reminded of the immortal words of Ian Malcom, "Taking dinosaurs off this island is the worst idea in the long, sad history of bad ideas."

I suppose I can see the rational behind that.

And it's got to be alot easier then attempting to genetically modify said soldiers etc. so that they "cannot die" or become very hard to kill. There's a part of me that wants to make all sorts of rants about how we're not all that "different" from the animals but...

*shrugshrugshrug*

If anything once the sharks go insane maybe it'll make a good movie.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life. Because I carry a big stick and I'm the meanest mother fucker in the valley! Two sharks down, Lord! One demon fish to go! Can I get an Amen?.

Radar is set to not detect dolphins and such as a big deal, after all, there're always dolphins around. Therefore if you have a small bomb snuck up by a dolphin, it won't be detected the same way a similar sized bomb plus self-propelling equipment would. Or at least so I've heard.

I have to write a news article about this. It is so very hard to stay neutral.

Oh those kooky weapons designers. Next they they'll specialize in dogs. Or bees. Or dogs with bees in their mouth, so when they bark they shoot bees at you.

Don't forget DARPA once started a little thing that grew into what is now known as the Internet. Yes, their projects can get a little bit beyond their original design and beyond their control.

Most such experiments take place in the warm Gulf waters. Shark attacks on swimmers in Florida have been making the news a lot lately. :)

Training animals is one thing. Running them around like remote-control cars is another. Gah. How utterly disgusting.

No, no, sorry for confusion, I was referring to the content of the article linked to. Implants and remote control sharks and, yeah, *that* stuff.
