Oh, this was fantastic. I was recced here by blythe, and I'm grateful to her, but SO grateful to YOU.
I love John's field notes, and the Slytherin!interaction, and the part where John hasn't heard of Harry, and the I-hate-school-not-stufy and oh, *everything*.
But mostly that John has seen worse things Voldemort, and stuck them in the face with a broken bottle. Way to have perspective, John!
