camwynI'm in Colorado. I'm serving at the disaster headquarters for the Hayman Fire operation. i have not seen fire, nor smoke, nor ash yet... on the other hand there is this disgusting yellowgrey schmutz obscuring the Rocky Mountains to the degree that my initial thought was 'low hanging clouds'. Then I realized clouds don't generally have pointy bits...
I have located a library, though it is closed on Fridays. I have located the address of another library near my hotel; perhaps it will be open evenings, and I can net from there. I have located several convenient comics stores, one Chinese restaurant that has scared the hell out of me ($1 a *scoop*?), the address of one Chinese restaurant that I haven't seen yet, and the address of a comic book store that lies between me and the restaurant. I can also find the art museum, science museum, and several other museums from here.
I work 7 AM to 6:30 PM. I have a room at a Holiday Inn. It is across the street from 'Shotgun Willie's', but it is a good hotel nonetheless. I have money for food. I have enough to read and listen to for quite some time.
