I thought I'd immunized myself to badfic, or at least inured myself against the worst of it. And in a lot of areas I have, by wading through _scourgify_ and deleterius and marysues.

And then today I found badfic_quotes, and the M*A*S*H / Justice League crossover (the green Martian dude? Ch'arlzz).

And more Doctor Who fic than I've seen in one place in a long time... all of it horrible.

Don't believe me? Here's just one sample. It's slash. With an OC. You don't want to see the ones involving Rose actually being Nine's mother...

FYI (and without reading it), Ch'arlzz is an in-joke. Some years ago, there was a purported terrible pilot made for a JLA TV show. In a moment of amazingly bad casting, David Ogden Stiers was cast as J'Onn. Really.

PS: Speaking of in-jokes, I finally remembered who Mayor Randall Winston is. You are evil. :)

Not so sure about the other stuff:

A streak of Green Light came through, marking the arrival of BJ Hunnicutt-The Green Lantern. In a force bubble with him was Sherman T. Garrick-the man who, in WW2 he had served with the Justice Society Of America as The Flash.

... not that that couldn't be kind of cool if done right, but the last Oan left alive is Mulcanthet...
