(no subject)

Went to Target. Target is 1.4 miles away and on the other side of the entrance to the Holland Tunnel. Bought:

half gallon milk
half gallon juice
tuna for cats
cargo straps
cheese straws
mac & cheese mix (Annie's)
Litter Maid Plus self cleaning cat box

and maybe one or two other things, I forget.

The straps proved sufficient indeed to the task. Despite the fact that the cat box is wider than, oh, the cushions on my couch, I got it and the rest of the cargo home safe and sound. I took pictures and they will be posted later, after I have bought kitty litter to fill the box.

Far as I'm concerned, Wanda is a sport utility vehicle, in all the ways that matter in a city this size.

I've got one of those Littermaid litterboxes. I had trouble getting the right litter to begin with. It seems to like Arm & Hammer though.

But of course! So's Madame Butterfly. In fact I once took Igor the black kat on a 5-km ride to the vet's office in his carrier on Madame B.'s rear rack. He loved it until we got there and he smelled DOGS.
