Going through the weekend's accumulated spam at the office (I'm responsible for Symantec Mail Security administration on top of everything else I administer), I ran across a word in one of the subject lines that made me smile. Sometimes, the tactic of mis-spelling a word to get around spam filters has all the accuracy of a true Freudian slip.

"Merdications."

Or ought there to be another 'e' in there somewhere?

I think it's fine as is—the i of the suffix would block out the final e.
