I had no idea what the temperature was when I started out. The first crack I got at a temperature gauge was a good six or seven miles into the trip; I just knew it was FECKING HOT.
I seem to have consumed between eighty-four and ninety ounces of liquid over the course of the trip- mostly sweet stuff, some tap water. I should also note that I stopped at a bunch of the traffic lights and that I was in both Rag Shop and Barnes & Nobles for a good ten or twenty minutes each, so it's not like this was all nonstop or anything.

So, I (http://www.livejournal.com/users/sharq/) decided to start my very own meme. Basically, I am going to try and see if I can do a six degrees of separation (http://www.kamps.org/haje/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=69&Itemid=2) thing, to see if I somehow can manage to communicate with someone who lives in Dubai.
I don't know anyone in Dubai, but I know several people who lived there at some point, and it sounds like an interesting place that is suitably far away. I decided to select the people by the newest message in their friends list. (i.e I go to person A, post this in their journal, and read their friends list. The top poster that I haven't yet visited and allows comments on their journal becomes person B, etc.)
I have no idea how I came up with the idea, nor why it seemed like a good idea at the time.
Feel free to completely ignore this message, it is merely a footstep in the snow.
