ACTUAL EVENTS OF TODAY:

- rode to Duane Reade, got canteen
- got on ferry, went to 38th st pier
- rode to Chelsea Bikes, got told 'many ahead of you'
- left bike @ shop, walked from 26th & 7th down to pier 24 (south of Canal st), would have done trapeze school instead but that's 2 hrs/class
- 20 min. kayaking in which I retrieved someone's volleyball
- took train to 23rd st station, walked to Chelsea Bikes
- answered many questions about chainless drive @ shop, bought handlebar headlight
- rode to riverside park along 26th st
- rode up to 59th st, took hill in 2nd gear, did not stand out of saddle once
- did entire Central park loop incl Cardiac Hill*, did not stand out of saddle except to avoid impact injury to undercarriage since nice man @ Chelsea Bikes adjusted seat height & this made quite a bit of difference
- rode over to 59th again & went down to riverside
- rode along until I got to 38th
- took ferry to Newport
- rode to nearest burger joint & got burger & onion rings, put small soda in cheap canteen rather than trying to maneuver cup properly
- got home, got bike up stairs
