I dunno. They say that guy spammed every single email in Russia? I think a bludgeon to the head is completely reasonable.

Yes, but the urge to spam will still be there. He could type with his feet. Or become a telemarketer or something. And that would be bad.

Mmm. We may have to keep him on a leash, then. With an electronic collar and a proximity alarm so that if he gets within a hundred feet of an operating computer he gets an electric shock or something.

I like Keith Lynch's suggested punishment for spammers: sit them in front of a keyboard, and make them hit the delete button once for each spam message that they sent.
