My bike got hit on today.
Not hit. Hit on.
I took it out for a ride today- no goal in mind, no particular mission, just I want to ride so badly that not even the computer seems particularly interesting- and went past two older Hispanic men on the way to Liberty State Park. They had bikes with them, maybe ten years old or more- couldn't tell. I smiled and kept on riding. Went all the way to the end of the park, where the Liberation Monument is, and then came back. The same two guys were in the same place.
"Hey!" one of them called, pointing to his ten-speed as I pulled up on the other side of the path. "How about you give me that bike and I give you this one?"
I smiled. "Tempting, but no," I answered him. "Thank you!" And all of us were laughing as I rode away.
Yeah. That's just how sweet this bike is.
