Jul. 8th, 2005 09:05 amOkay. Doing better this morning. Skating last night helped. So did the magazine I bought, which inadvertently turned out to be the same therapy I pursued on 12 September to keep my head on straight until I could get home and sleep properly- I bought an issue of Cosmopolitan so I'd have something un-challenging to read in the fast food joint I ate at yesterday, but I'd quite forgotten that I did the same thing the last time there was an enormous kaboom. (I was gonna be in the truck all day that day and the soldiers and rescue workers weren't going to be there every single minute- I wanted something that would quieten the thoughts in my head in favour of something easier to grapple.)
Woke up this morning with the cats pawing at the cell phone, as it's in use as my alarm clock. They have discovered where I keep the yarn that I take away from them and have strung it over most of the apartment. Clever boys.
Could do with an early naptime tonight, but that's nothing new.
Looking forward to my AirZooka arriving either today or Monday....

Date: 2005-07-08 01:38 pm (UTC)It sounds like something small and supernatural which flies.
This is why I'm asking. You being you, it is entirely possible that an Air Zooka is something that flies, and may or may not be supernatural.

Date: 2005-07-08 01:41 pm (UTC)It's one of these. I'v ebeen shot at with one of them before. It feels rather like being hit with a casually thrown football, only there is no football. Very funky.
