Still tired, but awake, and not in that half-awake, what-did-I-say-two-sentences-ago way, either. I got home at something like 5:30 or 5:45 last night and immediately sacked out on my couch.

I will now pause for joyful squealing over the fact that it is my couch, not my parents', not anyone else's, and that it is in my apartment, not part of my parents' home, and that nobody well-meaning came along to ask if I was feeling all right or engage me in conversation. Honestly, while I appreciate the concern, I have what I suspect is a stronger need to be left alone than most of my family.

Anyway, I sacked out for a bit, then the UPS guy delivered a package, then I went to nap again and got up somewhere around eightish. Much better. I'm still running low on sleep but I got to go to bed at a vaguely normal hour without being terrified about the server, and I got up an hour later than I'd done on Monday or Tuesday 'cos I didn't have to beat the traders to the desk to get to work on the email server. So that's something.

I might have enough rest in my brain to work on WYGO? tonight, after skating of course. (Assuming it doesn't rain too much to skate.)

Okay, seriously, now, folks: two cats. Lovely boys. My sister can't take care of them and I'm not supposed to have them. Anyone?

Not yet, no. My sister was trying to shop them around among family members first, and asked me to try among my friends.

It it wasn't for the fact that 1) I can't have cats in my apartment, 2) I'm allergic to cats and 3) Mom has already acquired a pair of cats for the family barn and 4) if those cats are used to being indoors and it would be damn cruel to force them to be barn cats in Tennessee winters, I'd say ship them down here. Sorry.
