She collapsed fifteen years ago and you're only JUST getting around to whinging about how Significant the Supposed Gap Between Collapse And Call was NOW? You claim that your request for the probe is not meant to suggest Michael Schiavo did anything wrong?

She's dead. The autopsy's over. There was no sign of abuse. Yeah, her heart stopped for reasons the autopsy couldn't explain, but after fifteen frigging years of kicking and screaming on the part of her family and months of waiting for the scientists to get finished, y'all have your goddamn answers. Quit whining and crying because they aren't the answers you wanted. I've quit whining and crying about the election, after all. Now it's your turn.

Basically, I think they're angry about the autopsy, which basically showed that Michael wasn't abusive and that yeah, Terri probably WASN'T responsive, and now they need to lash out at SOMETHING in hopes that people will ignore the fact that the people who were in the 'Save Terri' camp were wrong and now look kinda dumb. (about that, at least. There were other arguments all around, o'course)

Why don't they just shove a stick up her ass and parade her body up and down the streets of Washington? I'd find that less offensive, because after enough time there wouldn't be much left of her to march around and everyone could just go home.

She's dead, she's been mostly dead for fifteen years, and from what I've heard it was because she induced vomitting after one too many meals. But why can't they let her die?

I took a look at a link at salon.com to freerepublic.com about the Schiavo autopsy information. People were screaming about 'what about her broken bones! what about her broken back!'. When people noted that being in a persistant vegetative state for that long tends to cause massive osteoporosis which leads to those sorts of breaks, they were shouted down as 'liberal apologists.

One of the people there even said 'if they'd kept her alive, the miracle they were talking about would happen!'.

No, at this point in time I think these people need some Vitamin T and a nice long-sleeve hug jacket.
