I asked the building maintenance people to send someone around to help me out with my freezer today. They said they'd have someone here in the A.M. It's 11:26.

Bad: I have seen no one thus far and dobut I will in the next less than half hour.
Good: I got to sleep late.

I'm going in to work if the guy or girl doesn't show up by 12 noon. It's not worth delaying my actual job any further for.

On another note, Willis Carrier is GOD, albeit not a god who has a presence in my home just yet. The nice people at Honeywell do, however, make a lovely Personal Turbo fan for $10.

Miss Thunder just asked for loan of my heaviest wok. I do believe she's eyeballing the repair people significantly.

If they show up, we'll know what works.

Thanks, hon. The freezer works- sorta. My ice cream melts a lot around the edges and I'm almost SURE my ice cube trays were, you know, FULL when I put them in instead of having wimpy little half sized cubes in them. And it's on the coldest setting, too.
