And if I may make a suggestion regarding the disposition of Texas: Austin and the surrounding Hill Country would be an admirable place for the sane people to live. Most of us already live here anyway, and those who don't would welcome the chance to get away from the fireworks here.
Testing of fireworks would be about the most useful thing to ever happen in West Texas.
