I just clicked on the 'set language' screen, and I noticed something. How come there's no option for Chinese under languages? I mean, not that I plan on writing in it any time soon, or know any Chinese speakers who do, but they've got Japanese and Finnish and Hebrew and Norwegian, so I was just wondering... Small audience in the language or what?

Yeah, I know, there's probably a community where this'd be an appropriate question, but right now I"m just wondering. I won't bother asking support about it, because I don't plan on using that option, so it's not like they ought to be made to do it or anything.

Chinese?

The initial information about the translation project is here (http://www.livejournal.com/talkread.bml?journal=news&itemid=54970). If you follow the link (http://www.livejournal.com/translate/) to check translation progress, it shows that there's no progress posted on the Chinese translation. One of the sub-pages (http://www.livejournal.com/translate/teams.bml) shows that there's only one person on the translation team for Chinese. Which probably explains the lack of progress, and the lack of availability.
