The outlines for "Who Ya Gonna Owl?" chapters are a lot shorter than the outlines for "Hellblazer: Hogwarts" chapters. Like, a third the length- at best. Of course, WYGO? is trying to develop as if it were either a TV miniseries or possibly scenes from a movie, whereas H:H is more like issues of a comic book with an extended multi-issue arc, but still.

;P speaking of Hellblazer Hogwarts.... Are there plans for anymore chapters in the near future? I recently read through all of it and was chomping for more. And not just because my slasher brain went *ping!*.

Fear not. Once the next WYGO? chapter is done, I'm going straight to the next chapter of H:H. It's taking a bit more planning because this'll be the chapter where John actually has to teach for the first time, and also deal with one kid in particular among the sixth-year Gryffindors...

And if I know the slasher brain at all then I can only pray for it being John/Hagrid, because the alternative makes the skin on my back crawl.

But considering how in a HP's magical fanon world, even the brooms can become inexplicably sentient (And be logically workable within fic) there's about a billion more possibilities. :P

If anything, though, I like gen far better than most slash fics. If only because it gives me room to wonder and theorize on my lonesome. It's no fun if everything is spelled out in bold letters everywhere.

And since you watched the Ghost buster cartoon-- since I haven't a copy and I'm going on vague memories-- I distinctly remember teh original cartoon series to be darker and more realistically drawn than the cartoony version I ended up seeing later. Did they switch artists at one point or another? Or is it just my memories playing tricks on me?

Several years into the series they changed it from "The Real Ghostbusters", which varied in visual quality but was generally pretty well drawn and on the realistic side, to "Slimer and The Real Ghostbusters" or "Slimer and Friends" or something like that, and when they made the change I stopped watching. It just hurt to look at. It hurt even worse to hear what passed for plot and script after the change, but the visual element was horribly off-putting.
