Tourism guide for Inuvik arrived today.

Farking Zarquon but it's a million miles from anything.

Looks like it should be fun, though... also I find myself wondering why the bloody thing is laid out in what looks like almost exactly the same pattern as Fairbanks, AK. Well, except for the fact that the river through Fairbanks isn't nearly so enormous....


ooooh, they've got a bookstore. That's always a promising sign. No, seriously.

Not actually my idea- one of the other people on my friendslist said she'd always wanted to go, but she wanted someone to go with her, and did I want to. I said sure, I'd be interested. I'd be just as happy if it were in northern Alaska or Greenland, really.
