History and Discovery can be fun too (the latter if only for Mythbusters).
I admit that I have a fondness for VH-1's endless series of "C-list celebs make fun of the nostalgia of your youth" shows, but you can file that under "guilty pleasure". :)
But aside from all that, the only thing on regular TV worth watching is "House".
Huzzah, but all I have to say is I'm so glad I haven't voluntarily watched the telly in almost ten years. I forgot it was still hooked up to the cable when I tried to move it, and pulled the connector right out of the back.
Good for you! I finally gave mine up when I realized I was keeping it for Stargate SG-1 and not even managing to watch that--and that the current season, when it comes out on DVD, will cost less than a single month's cable. I'm never home to watch anyway.
{sigh} still miss it sometimes, tho, even with the huge backlog of videos and movies I've accumulated.
I almost never watch TV anymore, but I know that it would annoy me to no end if I couldn't flip on Cartoon Network or Comedy Central whenever I felt like it.
