Hope this finds all of you well, happy, safe, etc.

Spent yesterday working in the morning, buying some books in the city, helping my parents out for a little bit, then going to Jersey City to hang out with

cadhla,

stakebait, and (for a little bit, anyway) their mutual friend whose LJ name eludes me at the moment. We went out to dinner, we played Two Beers and a Story (I used root beers), we watched the last 50 seconds of the ball-drop on TV, and I drove

cadhla to JFK at 4:30 in the morning.

Hate hate hate HATE trying to navigate Manhattan in the dark.

Anyway.

cadhla is on a plane and safe, last I heard. I got home at 6 AM, pulled on a sleep mask, and slept til noon. Am now going to go buy buttermilk and make whole wheat bread with same. Maybe visit Great Swamp, too.

Had something else I wanted to say but cannot remember. Oh w...no! No, I remember now:

Am about halfway done with first draft of the latest Hellblazer: Hogwarts chapter. Work proceeds apace.
