well, at least it's for your own damn country. *G*
Up here in your adopted land ... we get to watch the damn things over and over, and it ain't even our political race. If the show we're watching is - thankfully - also being aired by CTV or Global or what not we are spared, but if it's something that is not concurrently on the canadian channel ... it's ads, and more ads, and more ads.
I also apparently am supposed to vote yes on proposition 1. Or no on proposition 1. Something to do with gambling. And yet schools. The commercials never made it clear what the heck proposition 1 is - so how helpful they are to those who can actually vote I have no clue. However, if I was to be propositioned for anything this week, after all that I'd probably run screaming - even if it was going to be something good ;)
gah.
And then tonight ... I have a feeling other than my beloved Corner Gas, it's going to be crap all for entertainment in Canadia on the television this evening. sigh.
Ahh well. Best of luck to you down there on the outcome. Both that you get the good guy (okay, the lesser of two evils - that's how politics works right? *G*) ... and that it doesn't go on for so long that another country could hold it's election in the middle of your own without a problem like last time.
(though we already had ours beforehand - probably to avoid having to do that again *G*)
