camwynI got a five o'clock wakeup call. It was automated. I ignored it. Five o'clock is fish o'clock- an hour at which I generally only get up if I've got to go fishing. Anyway the sky was the colour of steel, which is not my idea of a colour to wake up to.
At 5:45 someone called my ERV partner on his celphone. I heard it ring through the wall.
Five or ten minutes later my partner called me and said that he'd just got the call that said we had to get into the ERV and be at the Renaissance Hotel (our job hq) with our luggage by 6.
You'd think the hotel could have spared a human to tell us that instead of using an automated wakeup call... anyway, it looks as if this is the big one, esp. since the other disaster-area people in the building (the ones going to the Panhandle, not to the Tampa / Bradenton area) don't have the same schedule.
Wish us luck. The highway's gonna be crap.
