Yeah, semi-obscure, but it was my favorite book when I was little.

I love Purple House Press (http://purplehousepress.com/) -- when Mr. Pine's Purple House started getting up to $300 per copy, Jill Morgan decided to re-release it so that kids today could enjoy it like she did. She also released Tal (see above) and The Space Child's Mother Goose (Little Jack Horner sat in a corner, extracting cube roots to infinity...), among others.
