Punk cover by Me First and the Gimme Gimmes notwithstanding, I am reasonably sure that "Seasons in the Sun" is not supposed to engender images of a guy gleefully strapping on a kamikaze bandana or something else of that nature in preparation for one last deliberate berserk in his country's name.

Nevertheless, my brain insists that this is, in fact, the individual singing the song. Said image shall go in the same file as Jenny the Self-Made Ninja (spawn of "She's A Little Runaway" by Bon Jovi") and the paratroopers who now make it impossible to listen to "It's Raining Men" with quite the same degree of enjoyment that I used to have.

'It's Raining Men' has always involved Patti LaBelle and the rest of the band in WAVE uniforms at Pearl Harbor, with paratroopers landing around them, to me.
