My take on the title news from Rowling...

I actually thought the same thing, too. Although my knowledge of the royal family isn't enough that I know anything about Spencers or whatnot.

The thought occured to me as well, naturally. But the first thing I actually said was, "Is that real?" And when dhole confirmed that it was, I said, "'Cause it sounds like a fanfic." A bad Marty-Stu fanfic in fact. I hope the book's good; I hate the title.

My first take was "if he's half blood, what the rest of him? And won't he be tempting to vampires?"

Then: "I am your prince." "Well I didn't vote for you." "You don't vote for princes." And so forth.

And only then did I think about the royal princes.
