What happened to the Memories pages?

I've just had two different people tell me that when they go to check my Memories section, they get told there aren't any designated. I logged out as Camwyn and came to the Memories page via Internet Explorer, and I got the same result they did. Haven't tried logging out in Mozilla yet, but...

Anyone know what's going on, or how I fix it? I use the Memories page to keep track of my fics, and I want other folks to be able to do the same.

here's the error message. My suspicion of the answer is bolded:


No memories found.
This could be because:

the user hasn't defined any memorable events,
the user's memorable events are protected and you don't have access to view them, or
the user doesn't have any memories that match your filter criteria.

Well, that's the thing. Aside from the group of memories with titles that begin 'VicMage.Asia', I never protected ANY of the memories I made- and I didn't mark any friends-only posts as memorable, either.

Did you change the 'anybody can see my memorable entries' setting on your info page, perhaps?

I don't think so. I haven't fooled with my info page in a while, but I'll go check anyway. Can't hurt.

I know of two others who have had the same thing happening to their memories (others can't read them) Seems to be a lj bug

Ah, okay. I can deal with that.

I'll post links to the appropriate entries at some point today, but right now I have a headache and am going to lie down.

They seem to be doing some updates (the new comment reply boxes are lovely, although I have yet to try them in a text-only browser), so I'm betting they stirred up a bug and will settle it out again in short order.

It's settled out now. Checking jokersama's memories (because melpomenes_mask had recommended them), I found they were visible, so I checked here, and the memories are visible too! Yay!

It's an LJ thing. Everyone can access their own Memories, but no one else can.
