Views from the Swamp

A pond in Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge, very near human houses and a busy road and golf course.
Power lines or phone lines or something running through the edge of the Swamp.
The path to the blind that separated me from that pond. I've been told it looks very like a scene on certain islands off the coast of California, or something.
In other news, I'm about to launch into responses to the 'write me fic' responses. After that, more Hellblazer: Hogwarts- although I'm seriously thinking of posting what I've got so far, just as soon as I hear from the betas. Just to make sure people get their dose.
