The results are in from Rag Shop; I did not win the blanket knitting contest. They listed the names of the three people who did. I'm sure their work was amazing, and I'm glad my blanket got given to Children's Aid and Family Services of New Jersey. Here's to next year's design!

Yeah, it was. Ah, well. At least I have the experience under my belt and can make another with yarn that's more to my liking now.

Well, the last white panel that I did was about two inches short and had to be stretched out by blocking. That may not have been the best thing in the world for its looks- it was the right length but a bit uneven-looking, if you know what I mean. Still, I'm glad you liked it.

The pattern was excellent...I crochet, and am trying to follow a pattern for the first time instead of just crocheting a swatch and calling it a scarf, and I am making quite a mess of it. So I am very much in awe of you skills :)
