Web site update.

I've updated Megaloceros.net. The index page now points to the Alaska pages you've seen so far, as well as a slightly updated proof that I am insane. More importantly, it includes pointers to my Tolkien fanfic to date (particularly the One Thousand Word Silmarillion) and my Sergeant Preston fanfic other than the Diary of a Mountie. That remains to be edited into proper HTML shape.

Still, the fanfic is now out on the web proper, where the rest of the world can see it. @whee!

Although he still grumbles when people call him a cook and says he's a chef, it still applies very much to him ... (how many knives do they need? lots. and from my observance of him and his compatriots, they seem to collect even more if they can ...)

I took two semesters of foods prep and hospitality management at the local community college, and three 3-weekend courses at the Culinary Institute of America. There are an AMAZING number of knives in the immediate vicinity of anyone who works as a cook or chef, even if they're a pastry chef... although I admit, that particular survival tip was inspired partly by a James Bond movie where Bond got into a fight in the kitchen of a health spa M was making him attend, and partly by my RPG character Hsiang Ho (alumnus of Johnson and Wales, and Akashic Brother mage).
