My friend was unaware of
batyatoon and
sdelmonte being Orthodox Jews. "... Orthodox gamers?!?" was his exact reaction - he even specified italic, bold-faced, and multiple question marks. He then started laughing hysterically and eventually got coherent enough to say that, with the group as I described it, we'd probably make the funkiest Ars Magica group evar.
He went back to the hysterical giggles when I told him to reread the Diary and keep in mind that every single time Preston talked to The Shadow, I was addressing a guy in a yarlmuke.
