This grew out of a lengthy conversation with annamilton last night. It's been expanded a bit to make it into a proper drabble. One hundred words precisely.



"Varda, I thought we agreed that humans weren't allowed here."

"He came in from above. I thought it was Earendil."

"Vingilot hasn't got wings!"

"Yes it does. Aulë added them himself."

"Anyway it's not wooden!"

"Well. . . "

"Eru! What's he doing now?"

"Um. . . he's got Tulkas' hands behind his back. . ."

". . . I am not seeing that, Varda."

"I'm afraid you are, Manwë."

"Here! You! You can't do that!"

"Funny, I thought I already had."

"You're not allowed to arrest the creators of the Universe!"

"Why not? You got it wrong. . ."
