multifandom1000. This week is Open Challenge Week and I've already blitzed the poor community with several Sixth Age fics; the most recent challenge I went for, I felt, should be something a little more recognizable.
Naturally, I had to go and choose the alternate-history challenge- the Road Not Taken.

And not the AU in which the League encompasses a certain Wells character, either. Just that one possibility- a truly trustworthy man in the halls of government. Who knows where such a terror might lead, eh?
