Phoned cadhla last night to ask if I was dead and receiving all my merit / good karma at once. I'm doing computer work I'm good at, at a chapter that needs lots of help, within walking distance of more restaurants (of ethnicities whose foods I like) than I have FINGERS... and I'm also within walking distance of a street with no less than three used bookstores on a single block, two of which are next door to each other. I could stand in the doorway of one, spit real hard, and hit the other if I wanted to (which I don't).

cadhla says that since they haven't offered me a job here, I'm not dead; God is just teasing me. Ah well, I shall do my work and enjoy my time not at work while it lasts. They need me. I can help. That's the important thing.

That, and the fact that utsuri had better be working on her NaNoWriMo book, because I need to find a scanner today. I finished the picture... sadly it involves civilian clothes rather than the uniform, as I have no uniform pictures on hand for detail, but Oh Well.

To date I have very little written, because I have to INVENTORY all of my belongings for the bankruptcy proceedings. My craft supplies are driving me BUGNUTS.

However, I have not given up! Tomorrow I shall do NOTHING except write. Don't know if I can entirely catch up in one day, but I shall try my hardest.

's cool. Best of luck with the proceedings, and better luck with the writing. Tonight I expect to at least get a little bit of writing done myself (or, if that book on Alaska Malamutes keeps calling to me from the used bookstore, another picture), but nothing big. BTW, did you happen to get a look at the grandfather material yesterday?

Yes, but I downloaded it and was offline when I read it, so didn't comment.

The grammar and spelling and whatnot was a lot more iffy than your usual writing *raises an eyebrow at you*, but the story itself was marvelous.

I hope you DO manage to work that in to current. Maybe even in game. After all, if you're wandering through fairylands...cast out Guardians must needs go somewhere, neh?

Well, the grammar was iffy partly because this was notes rather than actual story, and partly for stylistic reasons. Honest Saul belongs to a somewhat different genre than his descendants, and owes a lot more to books where one or more characters has something Very Dreadful Indeed locked up in his attic. Mostly, though, the less-than-sterling grammar was because I consider the Honest Saul stuff to be notes, or at best background, rather than outright story.

And I personally rather ph34r what would happen if cadhla worked the Guardian into the game... which of course means that if she ever actually starts the PBEM portion I had better watch out, since that's an excellent reason for her to DO it.
