Almost done.
Aug. 19th, 2003 01:22 amThose of you who are Diary of a Mountie fans, I can tell you honestly that I am very nearly done. I will finish the material tomorrow if I have to bust out of an Uzbekistan jail to make it happen. For now, however, I have to sleep, so I will instead merely taunt you with one utterly out-of-context paragraph:
I couldn't fire into a crowd like that without hitting one of our own Mermaids or Sirens anyway. As I turned away from the sight I looked to Dorothy, planning to say something – but she wasn't there. She'd slipped around when I was plugging Prince's ears and was making for the warehouse at an amazingly good clip for a girl her age. Straight through the arc of fire of the egg-throwing Sirens, too.
