Perhaps it is only that my area of New Jersey did not experience even enough of a disruption to throw off my clock, or that I have a long track record of being entirely too cheerful for anyone's good during times of disaster, or even that I stopped at Starbucks this morning and got something called a 'gloppy square' that looks like it was designed by a small child looking for a sugar fix. But this morning I am feeling quite bouncy, despite the power failure to the east and north of me, and I should like to share with you the song I am trying to get my boss to put on our hold music today. I understand it was written as something of a response to the LAST big honkin' NYC blackout:
