This is what arises of having both a Canadian Mountie and Dorothy Gale in a single RPG:

Munchkins in the east, they wear blue, and in the south they wear red. When Dorothy showed up the Munchkins thought she was a powerful witch and that she was being friendly towards them, because she wore a blue and white dress and only sorceresses wore white. If Sergeant Preston were to show up in Oz, it'd be a case of "Holy !&*(, that's the biggest damn Quadling I've ever seen.""

I very bad man. This is the tail end of the discussion. The start ran something like this:

"I need a roto-rooter for my brain."
"Why?"
"Because I keep having this image that just isn't going to work. Even if Tom Swift could invent a material to coat a dogsled's runners so it'd move smoothly over sand without being damaged, we'd still be stuck. He'd have to invent booties and breathing masks for the wolves - because you know they'd be talking wolves - drafted to pull the sled across the Deadly Desert if it were in Oz, and if it were on Earth, well..." *ahems* "On, Prince! On, you. . . uh, sir? What breed are these again?" "Saluki." "What?" "And pharaoh hounds." "You're kidding, right?" "No." "*sigh* Prince! Get them moving for me!"
