I. Have. Finished. A. SWEATER!!!!
Unfortunately I haven't got a digital camera, so tomorrow I will find some way of getting my photograph taken. I intend to wear the mandarin collar cap sleeve sweater to work. The collar itself is weirdly baggy in some areas; I imagine the original yarn, which was some kind of viscose blend, probably had more structure to it than the silk/cotton blend I was using. Oh well. It does seem to work quite well, though...
Photos as soon as I can manage it!

Date: 2003-07-27 07:41 pm (UTC)On my part, I just finished reassembling the couple P2 computers in my boneyard, for to donate them to some local Interfaith folks, who will use them to teach poor kids how to build computers by, well, having them build computers. 8-)

Date: 2003-07-27 11:12 pm (UTC)I like the interfaith people in Alameda -- due to the hard work of some of our local folks, interfaith there does not mean just that the Presbyterians and the Methodists are talking.
No, it's also the Southern Baptists, the Buddhists... and the Wiccans and Heathens. So it's a complete win: poor kids get computers by learning how to put them together, and the local pagans prove that they can do things that are more like what grown-up religions do (i.e., charity work).
